Biography
Dieu et les Peintres
Ma Vie commence à quarante ans,
Mes yeux n’avaient encore rien vu,
Marc LORILLOT
Didier LORILLOT was born on January 27, 1952 in Jonzac in France
Thus Didier was immersed in the beauty of the harmony of colors thanks to his father Marc LORILLOT, a lover of freedom, the beauty of nature and words to palliate the evils,
who provided his family with the experience of travel and learning about the other cultures of countries where they stayed longer or shorter.
As a child, Didier, curious about the things that were within range of eyes, he tried to recreate what he saw with his brush in order to become the accomplished artist he is today.
Close to the nature knowing and recognizing the affirmative energies positive the works of the Artist bring well-being and serenity perennial.
As a teenager, the passion for painting persisted and even accentuated orienting young Didier to pursue the School of Fine Arts to validate and refine the Art of drawing and painting.
With this experience at the Beaux Arts, Didier took an interest in figurative surrealism. Everyone knows that in the 20th century Surrealism was based on the belief in the higher reality of certain forms of associations neglected until him, to the omnipotence of the dream, the disinterested play of thought.
Surrealism tends to permanently ruin all other psychic mechanisms and to substitute for them in solving the main problems of life.
At the same time, Didier’s intuitive and strong vibrating spirit led him to value the » journey through time. » with the oil painting, allegorical.
With a perseverance at variable geometry intermingled with exaltations, the artist continues his journey in a poetic environment.
Perfectionist of the smallest detail, he combines the past and the contemporary actuality, sharpening the complementarity of his gaze at 360 degree or 3D . with his sculptures giving the impression of movements, depth and life.
